While it was nice to see a new lease being offered to leaseholders of Rondeau, it seems that I would need some clarification before I could happily enter into same. It would appear that I would have to make a substatial financial committment to extend the lease. However, if something should happen to me, my family would lose my financial committment and as well have to turn over the cottage immediately and pay to have it removed. I realize it would first go to my spouse by my spouse happens to be somewhat older than I.
I feel that I should continue to have the right to transfer my property as I see fit, whether arm's length transaction or family transaction.
Perhaps you should just continue buying up the leases.
