With new lease agreements comes changes that are common. Wording gets refined, new restrictions are added, more legal jargon.

From my view point as a cottager, who has enjoyed all that Rondeau has to offer for the last 30+ years with family and friends. From the children's programs, the nature walks, the Interpretative Centre, the bicycle rides, roller blading, the beaches, the fishing, and other water activities to the trips to the store for ice cream and then board and card games to finish off the night inside. The full proposal that is being offered, is very restrictive. Especially, on the transfer of ownership to family members that wish to carry on with more years of enjoyment, if the current owner(s) pass on (die).

I am sure you have looked at the financial side of losing yearly income from the cottagers, for supporting Rondeau and other parks both the physical lands but also the employees. And there is also the impact to the local economy....

There are some points in the agreement that I agree with, the septic and water systems.

While this agreement seems to be all one-sided, I would like to see what the park is going to be doing to entice the public to come out to enjoy all there is to offer. Example: life guards at the dock and beach side, boat ramp on the lake side (two fold; one for the pleasure users and secondly for the emergency crews to assist in-trouble boaters/sailors.), street light replacements, black topping of tennis courts, etc.
