This moratorium needs to be continued until we realize that we need water for Ontario & Canada first. Scientists say water will be the gold of the future and wars will be fought over it. We should not be selling it off to corporations for pennies when we cannot guarantee we will have water here for Ontario's population. We cannot afford to be so reckless with what is clearly becoming an obvious resource of concern in the world. I expect our government to not be so shortsighted as to risk our futures. Ontario needs to have modern water taking policies that prioritize Ontario’s groundwater for communities and safeguards water quantity for generations to come. Let’s follow science not corporate greed.
