Fresh water is an incredibly valuable resource and will only become more valuable as the world population grows and ongoing industrial pollution, as well changes to the fresh water supply precipitated by climate change, increase demand for and reduce the available supply of potable water. We should not be giving our water away to corporations like Nestle that do very little to address ongoing environmental concerns related and exacerbate related environmental problems through their use of plastics and consequent contribution to plastic pollution of our water supply. I would encourage you to extend the moratorium on water bottling permits, indefinitely if possible, in order to protect this critical resource for future generations.
