Leases on the cottages within Rondeau Provincial Park should not be renewed by reneging on an earlier declaration that the leases should be terminated in 2017. The park should not belong to a few selected people who had the money to buy into it. They were well aware that the leases will run out in 2017.

Ontario's buildiversity strategy introduced in 2005 to protect and conserve areas rich in biodiversity was set up to do just that and cottages have no place in a park such as Rondeau Provincial Park, a place rich in endangered species. Ontario should not endanger those for the sake of a few cottagers. Rondeau Provincial Park belongs to us and our future, not to a select few. Most of Ontario's most beautiful lakes has already been privatized for a select few, we should protect what's left for the future of Ontario and its children.
