I disagree with the proposed amendment. I think the leases should terminate as previously negotiated. Lease owners understood the terms. Some are harming the wildlife. Rondeau is an anomoly in the provincial park system, and it's time to end that.
Although I now live in Oakville, I am not out of touch; I am aware of the reality of the situation. I grew up just outside Rondeau Park, and my family still owns property there. I would hate to lose our property, but if those were the terms under which I had the privedge of living there, I would honour them.
