I stronly support The Regionof Waterloo's suggestions for Source Water Protection and also Citizens for Safe Ground Water
Comments to the registry:
I also, in lite of the Corvid 19 Pandemic and the effect this will and has on our citizens along with the inevitable COLLAPSE of not only the North American but the World Wide economy, this can only lead to a GREAT DEPRESSION.
FARMLAND, WATER and FOOD will become the most important things to protect.
The 2000-6000 sq' homes and new roads will and should not become a priority.
Save the gravel in the ground for now and protect our WATER and FARMLAND in order for food to be grown locally.
We plead with you not to accept any new applications for rezoning of prime farmland especially for Gravel Pits which have the potential of effecting the quality of water for the Region of Waterloo, Wilmot Township and its neighbouring residents.
