I am profoundly opposed to the proposal to reduce the Green Space allowance from a minimum of 20% to 5% even where an additional 15% is created elsewhere in the city. People need green space where they live, not in some remote area. I specifically object to the proposal to allow developers to permit cash-in-lieu of green space, this is nothing but a transparent attempt to allow developers to make more profit by creating unlivable high density facilities by paying of the city.
Keep the 20% green space requirement and keep our cities livable.
