We are very concerned about…

We are very concerned about this proposal and definitely are NOT in favour of it! This proposed facility would further contaminate an established residential community and affect our property values. Who wants to move next door to a biogas facility and major truck traffic?! Also, we are concerned that many residents may not be fully aware of this proposal or the ramifications of this development. There has not been the opportunity for public meetings due to Covid-19 restrictions and not everyone receives the newsletter or is connected to email for notifications. We feel that this is being rushed through before it can be stopped.
The Lake Ontario waterfront should continue to be reclaimed as a “green corridor”, rehabilitating areas and connecting the suburbs to downtown Toronto, not creating new industrial traffic and pollution in an already sensitive environment.

Please do not approve this proposal.
