I have been following the cwd studies and my thought is there isn't enough reasons not to do this , the proposals sit well with me , this deadly disease must not get a foot hold in Ontario. any and all programs should be implemented . I am a member of Quality Deer Management Canada , but started with the U.S.A. group a number of years ago , they have battled this disease for a long time and have some great information on the subject. U.S. studies show that a lot of the areas where the problems started had been next to or extremely close to deer farms and animals shipped without the animals being tested or supervised . with the disease close to our province we need to do everything possible to stop the influx to Ontario.
