I lived on on Beechgrove Drive south of Lawrence Ave East. During weekday morning and afternoon there were were green trucks coming up from the Bioplant at 633 Coronation Drive and as well going up to Lawrence Ave and travelled above Speed limit of 40 Km per hour. My house including the furnitures and walls would be shaken by speed and weight of trucks. My neighbor also has their wall cracked due to the heaviness and speed of trucks. Quite often I would wake up like I am hearing a plane landing on my drive way. Beechgrove dive is a residential area. The road was paved over few years ago and now it has several cracks. I lived here over 10 years. I never have any issue with the industrial area on Coronation Drive except the Bioplant on Coronation dive.
I have couple concerns about the plant.
Firstly it is a bioplant. Have they received approval from city of Toronto to operate a plant on 633 Coronation Drive. Yet I did not hear any hearing from local MPP about opening of the plant and assessment /hearing from local residents.
Secondly, the green trucks used Beechgrove Drive as highway 401 at fast speed to get from where they want.
I have contacted police about the noise and speed. However, I only received like bandage solutions
Police will issue tickets to vehicles or trucks for speeding and noise issues.
Thank you!
