I would like to express my displeasure of the Xinyi company locating in Stratford, ON.
The cost of improvements to water purification and the air pollution that comes along with this factory does not seem to be worth the investment in this industry. I understand that the water used is not recyclable. Won’t the excess water requirements deplete our water source?
Why have other cities rejected the proposal to locate? What are the long term negative effects and will they be worth this investment? I don’t believe they will be worth it.
We currently have a hard time filling positions in the factories that we have. So if they will be bringing in people from another country, isn’t that a high risk for COVID?
I would like to express my opposition to allowing Xinyi to locate in Stratford, ON.
