Thank you for the opportunity to provide input on the Province’s consultation on growing the size of the Greenbelt.

Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA) has provided detailed comments and supporting background information in response to this consultation-EBR Registry #019-3136. (see attached correspondence, Grand River Conservation Authority Board of Directors report, and responses to the questions posed by the Province).

The GRCA Board report outlines items the province should consider before further consultation on the Greenbelt expansion.

GRCA would be pleased to work with the province and watershed municipalities to provide technical and policy expertise and any data or information that may assist in the implementation of the Growth Plan requirements and review of changes to the boundaries of the Greenbelt Plan.
