Green space is so important. While I understand that building housing is as well, there aren’t enough greenways and paths to enjoy. The pandemic has shown me that York Region could do a better job at creating more green space for its residents. As well, there should be ample amounts of garbage bins in this space as well. I find that all the routes I take my dog on are littered with so much garbage and dog feces. It’s disgusting. Having by-law officers out harassing people is not the answer. More garbages are. York Region should look at how Peel Region does their green space. Particularly in Mississauga. Hardly any garbage and dog feces anywhere because there are plenty of garbage bins. Please expand our trails and ensure that they’re clear in the winter as well.
