Please do not cancel our cap and trade agreement. It is irresponsible and extremely costly to do so. The impact of climate change is here and now. It’s the most important environmental issue on the table for the 21st century. The sooner we make the transition to clean energy, the better. Our ( soon to be cancelled) system of cap and trade was a significant and practical way to address the crisis at hand. Please reconsider your decision to scrap it all and reinstate cap and trade. You have a duty to act responsibly. For the sake of our planet, our children, our future.
