I think allowing bow hunting for the entire 3 month whitetail season is a fantastic idea. Why stop bow hunts when it is gun season makes no sense to me.
Extending the bow season imposes no additional safety risk to anyone and allows for bow hunters to hunt for the full season , especially during the rut, which is typically right in the middle of gun weeks.
