I think that the Ontario Government is very wise in bringing in this legislation to protect our environment. Our environment needs to be monitored and looked after properly.

This proposal must work for all levels of companies involved in the moving of soil, especially those who make a living in the Landscaping industry. Up until this proposal was postponed, I was not able to dispose of any sod this year in the London area because the disposal sites were only willing to accept clean soil. This situation was quite troubling to me, that a piece of legislation would be brought forward without any thought to address where people could get rid of basic soils.

Please think through this proposal and make sure this proposal works for all levels of companies, especially those who are disposing of under 15 yards of soil per time. Facilities where we purchase soil should be able to dispose of soil in a reasonable manner.
