Please keep the urban boundary of the City of Hamilton and do not allow expansion of the urban boundary to swallow up more vital farmland. Please require developers to develop within the city - there is a lot of infill to develop. City redevelopment already has the advantages of preexisting services - water, hydro, roads, transit, schools. Developers should also be required to include a percentage of lower income housing units in their developments. The planning department should come up with a plan for neighbourhoods for how the neighbourhood should look and be developed so development is not piecemeal and a tunnel of towers.
