I think Cap and Trade a effective way to reduce green house gases emission. It promote new Innovative technology and method to reduce emission. It leave to the market to decide what to do is the best and most cost-effective way to improve our environment. Therefore, I support Cap and Trade. Cap and Trade should not be eliminate entirely, however I think the government can try a slowly rowing approach to increase the cap limit in the first few years then lower the limit again thereafter. This can let companies and organization to have more time to prepare and come up with their actionable plan. I do not see a huge benefit by eliminating cap and trade entirely. It can even cause lawsuit to the government which is costly and time-consuming. Everything should be done in order. Bill 4 doesn't have enough time consulting the public and business opinion, it is way too rush which is definitely not a good thing.
