I object to any and all development of our greenbelt. This land does not exist for development, it exist to ensure the environment WE DEPEND ON TO SURVIVE has at least _some_ portion that still functions properly. The wetlands, fields, and forests of our greenbelt should be sacrosanct, utterly unavailable to any type of urban or suburban or road development.
If developers require work to keep the economy chooching along, allow the rezoning of the many downtowns of Ontario's many towns so that densification can occur. Allow mixed-use zoning, and encourage medium- and high-density residential construction.
LEAVE THE GREENBELT ALONE.
