I am fully against this…

I am fully against this proposed amendment. The green belt is meant to be fully protected farm land, wetlands, and watersheds. Wetlands are the kidneys of our planet. We should be protecting our province’s wild habitats and ecosystems, not developing them. It is also clear this will not lead to affordable housing options that will best address our housing crisis. There are lots of office buildings and vacant spaces in developed parts of our province that could house people. This is a waste of government spending and an attack on our environment.
