Bill 23 is an affront to our climate, and perpetuates the financial struggles of low-to-middle income Canadians. And the reason for this is the whole underlying premise of Bill 23 is that it continues to require Ontarian residents to overly rely on owning and driving a vehicle to go anywhere, every time for everything. Absolutely ridiculous. Until we deploy urban planning that massively deemphasizes the automobile and prioritizes walking, biking and proper public transit, we will continue to exasperate our climate and affordability problems.
It's more than clear to many Ontarians that our Premier doesn't care nor believe in the climate (case in-point is to wind up natural gas power generation going forward which has to be the dumbest thing a leader could do in this day and age). That is abundantly evident. His ignorance is wrecking our society, the future of our children and Ontario's future level of competitiveness. He's too dumb to see the signals in the noise.
