RE: 85 Young Street South, Elmvale, in the County of Simcoe and County of Simcoe's Official Plan Amendment No.7.
We are writing on behalf of our client to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing to express support for a zoning change from agricultural to low density housing in Simcoe County. With respect to the above-noted ERO Posting, our client, believes that a change to low density housing will bring many benefits to the area and its residents.
The demand for housing in Simcoe County has grown significantly in recent years, and there is a pressing need for affordable, sustainable, and environmentally friendly housing options. Low density housing can provide a solution to this issue, by offering families and individuals access to affordable and high-quality homes.
In addition, low density housing can bring several economic benefits to the area. It will provide new job opportunities in construction and related industries, as well as boost local businesses through increased population and consumer spending. Furthermore, a low density housing development can improve the quality of life for residents by providing access to essential services and amenities, such as schools, parks, shopping centers, and medical facilities.
We understand that any change to the zoning regulations requires careful consideration and consultation with the community. Our client is committed to working with the local authorities and the community to ensure that the proposed development meets the needs and expectations of all stakeholders.
We would be pleased to provide further information and participate in any public consultation process to further discuss the proposal. Our client believes that a low density housing development will bring significant benefits to Simcoe County and its residents, and we hope that you will agree.
Thank you for considering our request. We look forward to your positive response.
