This wilful, selfish and blatant act of ignorance not only jeopardizes the health of my two children in the place I've called home for 42 years... It's a slap in the face of the scientific community, who have been clear about how vital a time it is for all people, institutions and businesses to change our environmentally insensitive ways to protect the life and livelihood of our planet and province. It's simply an unnecessary, short-sighted approach to economic development with risks that far outweigh it's rewards. It's 2018. The stakes are too high for citizens of one of the most progressive and intelligent nations of the world to let such an myopic decision be made to such minimal benefit for so many.
