I feel strongly that this is the wrong move for Ontario. Climate change is real, it is serious, and the CCMLEA was working to reduce emissions and bring money to Ontario's economy. It's a bad move for the businesses that have already invested in the cap and trade, it's a bad move due to our obligations with other provinces and states that we have entered into agreements with for the carbon market, and it's a bad move for our environment. Do not eliminate cap and trade - this is a provincial solution - if we don't have one, then the federal government will put one in place, and then we don't see that money!
