This is my number 1 issue…

This is my number 1 issue for provincial elections. At a time when the effects of climate change are clear, I am very upset that my provincial government is taking steps backwards on climate change. We had a system that was putting a price on carbon, a price that my children will have to pay if I do not, and giving that money back to Ontarians through programs that improved the quality of life for all. Now instead, we will spend that money in legal fights with corporations that had planned their activities based on something that appeared to be certain, cutting programs that were providing real benefits. In the strongest possible terms, I urge the government to reconsider this.
