I am a fan of implementing protections in Southern Ontario and keeping Northern Ontario separate as northern black ash populations are at less risk currently. Protecting Black Ash is an important issue, and the fact that protections may be adjusted in the future should EAB become prominent in Northern Ontario will ensure necessary development in the North is possible, while maintaining the protection of Black Ash in the future.
