Cancelling the cap and trade system puts Ontario back environmentally, and economically. It is an opportunity for Ontario to be a leader and model on how environmental policy can also benefit an economy. Instead, Ontario is being persuaded with soundbites and false narratives that impedes progress.

We owe future Ontarians/ Canadians action now and should not leave them with an even greater uphill fight later on. Climate change isn't going to go away because Mr. Ford won't acknowledge it. We need to keep the cap and trade system.
