Cutting corners is never a good idea. The already defined process ensures careful consideration is taken to get it right the first time.
If legislation undercuts public input, bypasses steps that are proven to accurately anticipate and be prepared for the unexpected or otherwise short circuit the process by skipping necessary steps, it should not survive final reading in the legislature.
I do not support legislation that subverts democratic process, and introduces the possibility of inferior outcomes for the sake of reckless speed.
Haste makes waste. No shortcuts please. Take the time for things to be done right
