My daughter is studying at a Canadian University and she was told by her professor in her studies that the Sydenham is a whole ecosystem of mussels, turtles and different fish. Apparently it's quite a gem; one of the most species rich rivers in all of Canada for freshwater mussels. So maybe putting things in the ground near this gem may not be a good idea and could actually threaten this ecosystem. Also Molly Creek is close to the site I have been told turtles, fish and woodcocks inhabit this area as well. Dresden is a rich agricultural community with a unique ecosystem that should be allowed to continue to thrive and not be threatened under any circumstance.
Also if this company is at all concerned about the environment and their carbon footprint they should find a site closer to home. One that will not detrimentally impact our very unique ecosystem.
