Comment
I am against bill 4, Cap and Trade Cancellation Act, 2018 because of many reasons but here are four:
1) revenue was put to good use: 74% of the revenue went to public services
2) we need to charge green house gas emitters which will result in decreasing green house gas emissions
3) putting revenues towards green initiatives will keep us competitive on the world markets and lead to economic growth
4) according to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change we must reduce our emissions in half asap
