I am deeply concerned about the cancellation of the Cap and Trade Act. We are facing a serious threat at a local and global level as a result of climate change and I am deeply concerned by the Ontario government's inaction in this regard. Ontario must be part of a Canadian and Global effort to reduce carbon emissions and I fear that the cancellation of the Act ends positive steps taken in this regard. I urge the government to reconsider and continue efforts to address this important issue as a priority. Future generations depend on us to act now.
