Bill 185 is one more way this corrupt government is trying to benefit its "close friends" - Developers!
Under this Bill, the public will not be able to appeal but Developer will continue to have the upper hand as they can appeal at the Ontario Land Tribunal even if at the municipal level their proposals are denied.
What is required are modest home close to public transit, schools, work and amenities not luxurious, huge home in the middle of nowhere paving over precious wetland and farm land. Bill 185 encourages urban sprawl, by reducing the required number of people per hectare from 80 to 50, thus we end up with the opposite of solving the housing crisis, we are intensifying it!
