This Bill 185 is a mixed bag of fixing former mistakes and useful proposals and terrible heavy handed pronouncements without proper consultation.
The parking minimum is fine, encouraging multiunit like 4 plexus works, housing designs could be a step forward and reversing past gaffes is a good plan too.
The lack of third party appeals denies rights a voice to everyone but developers. Open door for corruption again! Lack of consultation obvious!
Boundary expansions high handed, and ignores all past planning efforts that have taken years to negotiate and put in place with consultation and an eye to the future.
Leave the upper tier regions in place rather than return to the small hamlets to manage what they cannot afford to do! In the interest of efficiency, scale and systems that work, do not take away planning. This is undemocratic, inefficient and destructive. You will regret this very much. If it ain't broke, do not break it!
