Hi it hard to get a tag with the piont system. I be in my 80's before I get a moose 🫎 tag the way the system is working know I am 37 know . It Unfare the way it works with so many less tags these days . It should be group hunting. Back to the old days u need a group of 5 to be able to apply and claim a tag. It makes more sincethat 5 family's getting a share of meat .
No one hunter getting a tag and not claiming it and going to waste .
It's more likely to be successful in a group.
Start the tag process early . And unclaimed tags should be available to to purchase at a surtain time so they don't go waste.
My group has not had a tag since the piont system..
