This is an absolutely terrible idea. This is complete overreach by the Ontario Government. Bike lanes ensure that cyclists have a safe way to commute. I'd much prefer for a cyclist in a bike lane that be on the road in front of a car.
Municipalities are much better placed to make a decision about infrastructure in their town then the Ontario Government.
