The provincial government has no business mettling with municipal matters of this nature. This is a clear overreach of government power. Municipalities know what is best for their own locales.
Bike lanes are the most cost efficient infrastructure that will actually reduce congestion. This bill will cause fewer people to bike and more people to drive which increases traffic and congestion. It will lead to less safe conditions and more deaths.
