The idea that adding lanes of traffic got additional private property storage (also known as parking) will improve the gridlock situation has been well and truly debunked by many studies. The removal of non allowance of bike lanes on the other hand wltget people killed. I thought the role of government was to protect the people not endanger them so that someone in a car can travel 20 seconds faster on their journey.
