Biking infrastructure is key in fighting congestion and climate change. As a province we should be encouraging as many people as possible to use active transportation whenever possible. This bill is backwards thinking. All the evidence, statistics and studies on this subject agree that bike lanes reduce traffic congestion. This reactionary, emotional thinking will make our province a worse place to live and travel in. We need to do better.
