Bike lanes save lives, encourage active transport and have a profound environmental and economic impact on cities. As a cyclist, I exclusively use routes with thoughtfully designed bike lanes to get to and from my destinations safely. Jeopardizing the safety of cyclists by removing bike lanes will have a profound effect on all motorists including drivers. Please consider the impact this legislation will have on thousands of residents who are reliant upon this critical safety measure. Ontario is a world-class province and world-class cities have sustainable, future oriented infrastructure.
