This bill lacks sufficient evidence and benefits only a narrow swath of Ontarians, and is a gross misappropriation of public funds. As somebody who relies on bike lanes and the underfunded TTC on a daily basis to get to work, this bill represents an active hindrance to my daily commute. My tax dollars would be better spent on improving existing bike lanes and public transit infrastructure, which benefits everyone rather than just those privileged enough to have access to cars.
