Municipal infrastructure design should be left to local municipal governments. Wasting money by ripping out infrastructure is shortsighted, and continues this government’s pattern of prioritizing privileged groups like drivers over others like cyclists. If Premier Ford wants to continue to meddle in local government while ignoring the crisis in the province’s health care system, maybe he should run for Mayor of Toronto again.
