This is a stupid proposal designed to divert public attention away from the highway environmental assessment. Needless to say, transportation decision-making shouldn’t be dictated by the premier’s commute. The best way to remove gridlock is to reduce the number of cars on the road, and the only way to reduce the number of cars on the road is to make alternate methods such as cycling more attractive.
