Municipalities requiring permission from the province to implement bicycle lanes is a gross overreach of provincial power.
Who will oversee the approval process? How will it be developed? Will there be an entire review board to ensure fairness in the results? A separate board to manage appeals? The "Reducing Gridlock, Saving You Time" Act is a monumental waste of taxpayer dollars to add yet another layer of expensive, completely unnecessary bureaucracy.
