This proposal is moronic. The province does not need to interfere in municipal matters.
If anything, the province should new be mandating the creation of addition bike lanes, and supporting the creation of alternative modes of transportation that are better for people and the environment.
Cars should be the lowest priority mode of transport in Ontario.
