The government should be focused on building more and safer bike lanes to encourage folks to bike instead of trying to hinder bike lanes from being built with inefficient and unhelpful Bills. Biking is good for the environment and it's good exercise. Nicole Motillaro wrote an excellent article for CBC that outlines all the benefits of building more bike lanes, including a breakdown of how recent statistics have been misused to put the blame of increased congestion on bike lanes, when there are other more pertinent factors at play. Please, please put the environment and the health of the province first and prioritize bike lanes!
