Taking cycling lanes away will negatively impact both environmentally friendly modes of transport - cycling - and making traffic worse on city streets.
That the Premier is unwilling or uninterested to listen to experts shows that there is no viable environmental reason for this.
As a frequent user of cycling lanes in the city if Toronto, this olan is ill-advised and ill-conceived.
I wholeheartedly oppose this plan, and should it take effect, I will do what I can to peacefully disrupt the removal of the bike lanes.
