Toronto has done in-depth research, community consultations with politicians and business leaders and chose this path. Statistics back that the change does not impede traffic. For every cyclist on the road, that is one less car. And considering most cars have one person in them, it's incredible apparent as to what is causing traffic congestion: cars.
