If passed, not only will…

Commentaire

If passed, not only will this bill make cycling more dangerous in the city of Toronto, but also possibly increase gridlock by tacitly encouraging more people to use their cars to get around.

Cycling corridors make it easy for people to safely and efficiently engage with many neighbourhoods across the city to the benefit of many small businesses that rely on the kind of engagement that happens from foot traffic and cycling traffic.

Environmentally this would be a decision that is completely incongruous with the international climate goal of creating less fossil fuel reliance.

I am not in favour of this bill.
