Protected bike lanes save lives. A woman DIED earlier this year because a truck illegally parked on a painted bike lane. Getting rid of bike lanes does not stop cycling, it makes it more dangerous.
This is an irresponsible and ridiculous policy that will incentivize driving making MORE gridlock.
Worst of all, this move represents gross governmental overreach. If Doug Ford wants to be in charge of Toronto he should just run for mayor.
